For LHS students and faculty, Thanksgiving is all about food, family and friends. Keep on reading to see what 10 members of the LHS community plan to do this Thanksgiving:

“Every year the Gutierrez Thanksgiving tradition is to have everyone come to my house to spend time with my family. Together we watch football and eat tons of turkey, stuffing and anything else that my other family members bring over.”
Gianna Gutierrez, freshman

“My immediate family and I go over to my aunt’s house to eat turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes.”
Justin Mayewski, freshman

“Every year my family writes down what they are thankful for and keeps them in a box that we add to each year.”
Ella Tozduman, sophomore

“We usually just go to a family friend’s house and have a meal. Yet, after all the food is finished, we spend the rest of the night by singing karaoke or playing games all together.”
Brandon Fallas, sophomore

“I love to eat the mashed potatoes my grandmother makes while watching the Thursday night football game and finishing off the turkey with my family.”
Tony Arantes, junior

“Ever since I was a baby, every Thanksgiving I go to my mom’s best friend’s house. Here we watch movies, play games and feast out on the turkey.”
Isabella Rivera, junior

“I go hunting for turkeys in the woods of Pennsylvania with my family and some of my friends.”
Justin Diller, senior

“My Thanksgiving tradition every year is to have my whole family get together and pick our Secret Santas before eating some of my dad’s turkey.”
Alicia Henrichsen, senior

“I go over to my husband’s family’s house for Thanksgiving. He has 13 first cousins, and they are a lively bunch that like to hide chestnuts in people’s shoes and throw biscuits at one another during this time of year.”
Mrs. DeForge, library technician

“For Thanksgiving, my family and I go to my uncle’s house where we start off with appetizers and end the night watching football while eating over five types of pie everyone brought.”
Mr. Raguseo, Italian teacher
