Students displayed their LHS pride at the Sixth Annual Winter Pep Rally in the gym on Dec. 21. The event included classic competitive games such as the half court shot, hula hoop contest, musical chairs and whipped cream pie eating contest.
Additionally, there was snowman-a-teacher, where students competed to be the fastest to cover their teacher in toilet paper, then add gloves, a scarf and a hat. Premiering this year was the three-legged race, where two students linked legs and raced other pairs.
With recognition of all LHS winter sports teams, the pep rally previewed upcoming sporting events and included a special visit from Santa to usher in a joyful winter break.
