Walmart’s “Buy the Room” feature allows college bound students to quickly and easily select and order everything they need for their dorm room, including bedding, storage and decorations.
Introduced last year, the feature makes it possible to add groups of items to one’s cart with a single click.
Here is what three LHS students have to say about their favorite “Buy the Room” options:
Katelyn Peterson, senior
How would you describe your dream dorm room?
“I want to decorate my room [to be] very unique and simple at the same time.”
Favorite “Buy the Room” look: Floral Prep
“I prefer it because it has all my favorite colors in it.”
Isabella Rivera, sophomore
How would you describe your dream dorm room?
“Simple and modern. It won’t be cluttered [with] not too much furniture.”
Favorite “Buy the Room” look: Black & White Lounge
“I like… its simplicity, modern look and color combination.”
Justin Gerena, junior
How would you describe your dream dorm room?
“I want to decorate my dorm room with a bunch of sports stuff like posters, jerseys and medals.”
Favorite “Buy the Room” look: Collegiate Blue
“It just seem more like my style, and I [like] the jersey up on the wall.”
