For the first time in eight years, an NCAA football video game is being released. This has been a very controversial topic throughout the year because of debates regarding college athletes not getting paid. 2013 was the last time a game was released, but game developer EA Sports was not able to use the names of the college athletes.
This was a controversial game because EA Sports was involved in legal trouble during that time. They were sued because of the direct use of NCAA players’ names and likenesses. This led to the discontinuation of the video game up until this point.
Although they have gotten in trouble in the past, the game will still be released without the license to use players’ names and likenesses. The game will only use the schools’ names and logos as a way for players to recognize the team they are playing as. This is the same way the last NCAA game was made.
It has the potential to be a very fun game, but for the creators, there are a lot of obstacles to get it made without any legal issues. It will be tough to make it as realistic as it could be without the players in it, but there is no doubt the game will thrive upon its release.
It will still be a huge success because of its growing popularity. Over the years, many people have wanted this game to be released again.
It was a very fun and popular game while it was out because it is unique from most other sports games. It is one of the only games where players can represent college teams, and the different game modes led it to have high reviews.
As the NCAA moves forward with its rules and allows players to be paid for using their names and likenesses, the game will grow even more popular than it already is.
EA will begin to pay players for use of these characters’ portrayals, and it will be much more appealing to people buying the game. Once the rule is changed in the NCAA, this game will most likely come out every year just like NBA 2k and Madden.
