Senior Tributes

In my four years at LHS, there have been many ups and downs that have made my high school experience memorable.

My sophomore year, we had one of the best hockey seasons in the school’s history. And just being around those guys was such a great experience. And then my junior year, the soccer team won the league title for the first time in over two decades, but sadly we lost in the first round of the playoffs.

My senior year of track has been marked by a major achievement as well. On May 24, we won our tenth straight league title. And let me tell you, there is no better feeling than having such success with your friends.

I made some great memories outside of sports as well. I will never forget all the Spirit Week events and laughs in the hallways as well as the great times in swim class. These moments were so meaningful because they represent the best parts of my high school experience.

I also have good memories created outside of high school. The group vacations with my friends down the shore or traveling to Pennsylvania were always a blast. It was fun to get out of school and get away.

I will never forget all the Spirit Week events and laughs in the hallways as well as the great times in swim class.

Now that high school is over, I will be attending William Paterson University in Wayne. I plan to earn a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice so I can one day become a police officer or hold another job in law enforcement. Becoming a police officer is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and it’s exciting to know that I’m getting closer to achieving that goal.

Finally, I would like to thank all my friends and teachers for making my time here at LHS so special and memorable. No matter what my future holds, I will always cherish my high school years.
