Wearing the same outfit countless times can start to get boring. Luckily, old garments can be made brand new again just by pairing them with the right jewelry. Adding bracelets, earrings, necklace and rings will help you look classy and put-together.

Finding the proper sizes and style for these accessories is especially important when trying to achieve your desired look. Apply these principles to ensure that you select the perfect jewelry to complete your outfit:

Bracelets

Bracelets add shine and glimmer to an outfit. Gems on bracelets are very eye-catching and especially pleasing to look at.

Bracelets help show off the arm, making them ideal to wear with shorter sleeves or tank tops. The best bracelets to add more pizzazz to an outfit are link chain and charms. These look best with a simple outfit.

Dressier outfits and those worn for an evening out are best paired with cuffs and tennis bracelets. These simple but elegant bracelets go great with long sleeves.

Earrings

Earrings can truly make a statement if you pair them well. Earrings that dangle look best with classy and elegant outfits. They can help draw attention towards the face, making that the focal point. Dangly earrings also go well with hair upstyles so they can be seen clearly. Smaller earrings, such as studs, are better for casualwear and everyday looks.

When it comes to earrings, the color of the metal matters. Gold tones look better on people with warmer undertones in their skin, while silver can make them look washed out. Silver looks best on people with cooler undertones.

Necklaces

Necklaces are an amazing way to add a stylish touch to an outfit. Different types of necklaces include choker, chunky, dainty and layered. For everyday outfits worn when going to the grocery store, mall or even school, chunky (thicker) necklaces are the way to go. Chunky necklaces with a simple design can add that extra touch that brings more attention to the upper portion of your outfit.

Plunging necklines look best with choker necklaces. Longer necklaces should not be paired with shirts that have a low-cut neckline because they can become hidden inside the shirt. Choker necklaces bring attention to the neck, making it the point of visual interest in the outfit. When wearing turtlenecks and mock necks, it is best to wear longer necklaces that have a charm or pendant.

Rings

When it comes to rings, go big and bold. Statement rings include rings that are oddly shaped or have a three dimensional aspect, such as a snake on a ring. Statement rings go well with simple, casual outfits.

Simple, smaller rings go best with more elegant outfits but can also be worn casually.

Well-worn outfits can appear new again when properly styled with jewelry, so turn to these time-honored accessories for a chic and put-together look.
