In fact, according to the National Retail Foundation, Americans are expected to spend $23.9 billion on Valentine’s Day gifts this year. More than half of U.S. consumers plan to celebrate the holiday in 2022, and more than three-quarters of those consumers indicated that it is especially important to celebrate Valentine’s Day because of the current state of the pandemic.
