Faces in the Crowd: What are juniors looking forward to about prom?

This year’s prom will take place on May 4 at the Tides Estate in North Haledon. With prom just one week away, juniors share what they are most looking forward to about the big event:

“I am excited to dress up with all of my friends and have a fun time with everyone.”

“The thing I am looking forward to the most is attending a formal event with the people in my life. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”

“I’m looking forward to going to New York City [after prom] with all of my friends.”

– Shane Keeler

“I’m looking forward to hanging out with my friends.”

– Jake Kuenzle

“I’m looking forward to [getting] to spend a lot of time with my friends and listen to good music, and I’m excited to see what everyone is going to wear.”

“I have been looking forward to prom probably my whole high school career…. I remember going to my cousin’s [for photos] in the park. The whole atmosphere has always been cool to me.”

“I’m most looking forward to seeing all the hard work the Prom Committee has been putting in. We have been picking out decorations and ideas for a while now, and I cannot wait to see it all together. I’m excited to see the DJ and the venue.”
