Meet your student government officers

President Isaac Camilo, junior

Role: “My role is to plan and coordinate school events, fundraisers and trips.”

Goal: “This year, I hope to give everyone a memorable year and experiences that will be remembered for a lifetime.”

Fun Fact: “I love going fishing.”

Vice President Julia Tozduman, senior

Role: “As vice president, I assist Isaac and the other officers in planning spirit days, events like homecoming and trips.” 

Goal: “ I hope to host an event like Clash of the Classes where students get to play games and work together with their classes.”

Why did you join SGA? “I love being a leader and helping others. I also wanted to make these four years of high school the best they could be.”

Activities Social Chair Debra Ogunbowale, sophomore

Role: “This role entails creativity, which will be used to make social media posts and stories for the Instagram account @govlhs.”

Goal: “I hope to achieve a more welcome and involved environment at LHS where students enjoy and want to come to school.”

Fun fact: “I have read 76 books this year.”

Secretary Madeline Turano, junior

Role: “During our meetings, I jot down notes and document our plans.”

Goal: “I hope to hold more fun events that everyone can participate in.” 

Why did you join SGA? “I thought it was an amazing opportunity and a fun experience.”
