New teachers explain what they hope to contribute to the high school

“As an LHS alum, I look to give back to the students in any way possible and be here as someone they can lean on and ask important questions to. Especially for the new students, [I want to] be someone that they can count on [to] give them good advice.”

“I’d rather just make sure I contribute to what’s already here. There’s a lot of cool stuff. As a first-year teacher, I pick up on little things going on here in terms of respect and a positive learning environment.”
