The action RPG game Fat Princess Adventures has reached a milestone. Released on Dec. 5, 2015, it turns 10 years old today. Unfortunately, despite its excellent gameplay and engaging storyline, Fat Princess Adventures remains relatively unknown.
The video game is set in the vast world of Great Bitten, where the Bitten Queen has captured the princesses of the Red and Blue Kingdoms. The player takes on the role of a royal hero and must fight through waves of goblins, monsters, skeletons and the queen’s minions to save the world. The hero travels across several regions of the world to gather resources and complete quests to prepare for the final battle against the Bitten Queen.

Fat Princess Adventures may seem too simplistic, but it quickly proves to be a lot of fun.
The gameplay can change based on the class each player chooses for their hero. The player can switch between classes of the Archer, Engineer, Mage and Warrior at any time by simply changing their gear at checkpoints. Each has its own pros, cons and unique mechanics.

The RPG is rated Teen for cartoon violence, gore, language and suggestive themes. Starting with a brand-new account, the game should take about eight hours to complete in solo mode. If set to multiplayer, it can take anywhere from six to seven hours, depending on teamwork and coordination.
There is a wide range of difficulties to choose from, making the game enjoyable for both casual and hardcore players. The easiest mode, called “Cakewalk,” offers a relaxed experience focused more on the story than on combat. On the other end of the spectrum is “This Means War!,” the ultimate challenge that pushes even the most experienced players to their limits. This mode is unlocked only after completing the game on the easier settings.

Fat Princess Adventures may seem too simplistic, but it quickly proves to be a lot of fun. At first glance, people may not want to play because of the game’s silly title, but its comical elements are sure to lead to plenty of laughter. For instance, the narrator has a humorous tone as he breaks the fourth wall, mocks the player’s failures and makes sarcastic comments about RPG clichés. Additionally, the non-playable characters’ emotions, relationships and side conflicts make them seem like actual people players could connect with.

Fat Princess Adventures is 10 years old, but it’s aged incredibly well. A perfect mix of competitive and funny, this game offers something refreshingly unique that all gamers can enjoy.
