Super Bowl LVII is just around the corner and will be one of the greatest Super Bowls to ever take place. The game will be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on Feb. 12.
The final four teams left standing were the Cincinnati Bengals, Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers.
The Eagles won 31-7 against the 49ers in Philadelphia at the Lincoln Financial Field on Jan. 29. With the Eagles having an astonishing offense and the 49ers having one of the best defenses in the NFL, this was one of best ever National Football Conference championship games.
In this game, the 49ers lost both their quarterbacks to injuries, but the third string quarterback Brock Purdy has been a big help in getting his team into the playoffs. The 49ers had no chance of winning because the third string quarterback got hurt, so they put in the fourth string quarterback, who also got hurt, so the 49ers finished the game with an injured Purdy.
My prediction for the Super Bowl is that it will be a close game with the Chiefs beating the Eagles by one point.
The Kansas City Chiefs hosted the American Football Conference Championship on Jan. 29 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri against the Cincinnati Bengals. The last time these two teams played against each other, it ended up with the Chiefs losing by 1 point. This game wasn’t looking good for the Chiefs because quarterback Patrick Mahomes was just getting off an injury. He didn’t have a high chance of winning, but he still pulled through and beat the Bengals with a field goal by kicker Harrison Butker.
These games on Jan. 29 determined that the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will be going to Super Bowl LVII.
My prediction for the Super Bowl is that it will be a close game with the Chiefs beating the Eagles by one point. The Eagles have more of a defensive team than the Chiefs do, which means that the Eagles can stop most of the challenges that the Chiefs throw at them.
I predict that the game will start with running back Isiah Pacheco running the ball through the linemen and into the endzone, making the score 7-0. The Eagles will make a quick comeback by throwing the ball to wide receiver A.J. Brown for a 15-yard touchdown.
The score will be tied to 7-7. Mahomes will throw to one of his receivers, and it will get intercepted by Eagles safety Anthony Harris and get brought up for a touchdown, which will make the score 7-14.
With the Eagles up by seven points, Mahomes will get the ball back and throw it to tight end Travis Kelce into the endzone for another touchdown, which will lead to a 14-14 score. The Chiefs will stop the Eagles from getting to the endzone and force them to go for three points, which is a success that will result in a 14-17 score. That will end the first half of the game.
The second half of the game will start with the ball going to the Eagles. The defensive linemen will pressure quarterback Jalen Hurts, which will cause him to run and get hit by linebacker Nick Bolton.
There will be a fumble, and the Chiefs will recover the football. The Chiefs will throw the ball to wide receiver Kadarius Toney for a touchdown that will result in a 21-17 score.
The Eagles will get the ball in the fourth quarter and throw it to wide receiver Devonta Smith, who will catch the ball and make a touchdown. Kicker Daniel Elliott will miss the extra point, and the score will be 21-23.
Mahomes will get the ball and throw deep to Kelce. Mahomes will get caught on the 40-yard line with about 45 seconds left. Bucker will make a 45-yard field goal to win the Super Bowl for the Chiefs with a score of 24-23.
Although all teams in the National Football League did their best this season, there can only be one winner. I think it will be the Chiefs because their defense will pull them through in this very challenging final game.
