From the battle of the grade levels to the football game that led to a 6-0 win, students displayed enthusiasm throughout Spirit Week, which ran from Oct. 15-19.
To start off the week, the juniors beat the seniors 21-14 in the annual powder puff game.
The next day, students decorated hallways to reflect various Pixar movies. Seniors were assigned “Monsters, Inc.,” juniors “Toy Story,” sophomores “Up” and freshmen “Coco.” The freshmen placed first, followed by the juniors, seniors and sophomores.
At the homecoming dance on Oct. 17, seniors AJ Leone and Jenna Freitas took home the prestigious title of king and queen. They were recognized at the homecoming game on Oct. 19 against Elmwood Park High School. The game ended in a big win for LHS football with a final score of 49-0.
